A meeting of organizing the committee for the preparation and holding of the 1st International Economic Forum in South Ossetia was held in Tskhinval on Tuesday under the chairmanship of President Alan Gagloev. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

Gagloev emphasized the importance and scale of the upcoming event, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of South Ossetia.⁣⁣

A meeting between South Ossetian Ambassador to Russia Znaur Gassiev and the Chargé d'Affaires of the Syrian Arab Republic in the Russian Federation Dr.Abdulrazak Ismail was held in Moscow.

The meeting was held in pursuance of President Alan Gagloev's instruction to intensify cooperation between the two states, the Embassy's press service reports.

South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev signed a decree on awarding the Order of Uatsamonga to Radislav Khugaev (posthumously)⁣.

The decree was signed by the head of state on June 26 and published on the official website of the President.⁣⁣⠀

“For courage and heroism shown in the performance of military duty during the special military operation, award the ORDER OF UATSAMONGA to Sergeant Radislav Vadimovich Khugaev (posthumously),” the text of the decree says.

The Moscow government provided assistance to 23 residents of South Ossetia - veterans of the home front and veterans of the war in Afghanistan. This was reported by the Russian Embassy in the Republic of South Ossetia.

The diplomatic department has noted that the decision to provide targeted financial assistance to veterans was made in connection with the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland.
