South Ossetia has significant potential for development in various sectors, including mining, construction, timber processing, and agriculture. This was stated by Andrei Vorobyov, a leading specialist at the Chelyabinsk branch of the Komsomolskaya Pravda publishing house, arrived in Tskhinval at the head of the delegation of entrepreneurs from the Chelyabinsk region.
During the press conference held at the Information and Press Committee, Andrei Vorobyov shared his impressions of the visit.
"We have seen that the Republic great potential. This applies to mining, construction, timber processing, industry, and agriculture. Everything is in front of you, everything is in your hands," he said.
According to Vorobyov, his colleagues prepared a number of proposals during their stay in South Ossetia.
"My colleagues have prepared several proposals for the Republic's enterprises and the Ministry of Economic Development. I hope they will be reviewed and a positive decision will be made," he has added.
As a next step, Vorobyov suggested considering the possibility of a delegation of the South Ossetian entrepreneurs visiting the Chelyabinsk Region.
"We could consider sending a delegation of entrepreneurs from the Republic to the Chelyabinsk Region so we can discuss everything in more detail. This is all negotiable, and we are open to it," he has concluded.
