The main topics at the latest Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) meeting were security and humanitarian issues, as well as incidents on the state border. Yegor Kochiev, head of the South Ossetian delegation, reported on the meeting's results.

"During the meeting, we discussed pressing security and humanitarian issues arising along the entire border of the Republic of South Ossetia," Kochiev has clarified.

He has noted that the past period has been characterized by a relatively low level of violations.

"Only three incidents were recorded: one violation by the Georgian citizen, one by the Georgian police officer, and one by a patrol of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM)," the head of the delegation said.

The South Ossetian party demanded clarification on all the recorded incidents.

According to Kochiev, responses were received, but neither the Georgian police nor the EUMM representatives were willing to admit guilt in the border violations.

"Nevertheless, facts are stubborn things. We have informed the Georgian delegation and the EU mission leadership that such actions were unacceptable," Kochiev has emphasized.

The head of the delegation also noted the dynamics of the incidents.

"The locations of the violations are constantly changing, and a separate investigation is conducted for each case," he said.

He has also expressed satisfaction that violations have ceased in areas where incidents were previously recorded.

In conclusion, Kochiev has stated that South Ossetia will continue to consistently defend its position.

"We will continue to inform the mission leadership of the unacceptability of such actions, and also remind them of the actual state border of the Republic of South Ossetia," Kochiev has concluded
