In South Ossetia, a resident of Dzau district, Alan Tedeev, perished during the special military operation, was given last honors.

The Republic's leadership, headed by President Alan Gagloev, Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov and other officials, friends and relatives of the deceased came to give last tributes to him.

At the funeral ceremony, it was noted that everyone knew Alan as a brave man, a loyal friend, a reliable comrade in arms.

South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioyev visited Brest, where he took part in events dedicated to Belarus Independence Day.

According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, the main focus was on supporting the South Ossetian athletes participating in the III Open Republican Boxing Tournament dedicated to Belarus Independence Day.

South Ossetia is represented at the competition by David Tskhovrebov, Alim Gabaraev and Marat Dzhioev, led by the Coach Chermen Bestaev.
