The State Security Committee (KGB) of South Ossetia announced the completion of the case against the Georgian citizen Giorgi Uznadze, detained in March of this year for illegally crossing the Republic's state border.
On Tuesday, after serving a six-month sentence, he was released and handed over to the Georgian side.
According to the KGB, on March 17, 2026, South Ossetian border guards detained a 31-year-old resident of the village of Samtavisi in the Kaspi Municipality.
