Russian tour operators working with Abkhazia, Belarus and South Ossetia will have their financial requirements reducing

Financial requirements for the Russian tour operators working with Abkhazia, Belarus and South Ossetia will be reduced from September; this will allow for expansion of the range of affordable tours in these countries, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development reports.

As indicated by the Ministry, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a list of neighboring states with favorable conditions for the stay of Russian tourists. The list has includes Abkhazia, Belarus and South Ossetia.

In Memory of Ardzinba: Special Forces of Ministries of Justice of Abkhazia, Russia and South Ossetia conducted joint exercises in Sukhum

The four-day international exercises of Special Forces of the enforcement agencies of Ministries of Justice of Abkhazia, Russia and South Ossetia have ended in Sukhum.

The exercises were dedicated to the memory of the first president and national leader Vladislav Ardzinba.

South Ossetia was represented by employees of the Bailiff Service headed by Vadim Dzhagaev.

Elkan Kharebov: The International Forum is the important step in positioning South Ossetia and attracting investment

Holding the International Economic forum in Tskhinva is a significant step in positioning South Ossetia in the all-Russian and, possibly, in the CIS space. This was noted by Candidate of Economics, professor, research fellow at the South Ossetian Research Institute Elkan Kharebov.

According to Kharebov, a significant representation at the Forum, including the leading Russian banks and development corporations such as VEB.RF and Kavkaz.RF, gives the event the international status.
