Already the second day Tskhinval, the capital of the Republic of South Ossetia, practically does not receive potable water. Problems have once again arisen on the site of the water sluice Edis-Tskhinval in the area of the georgian-populated villages Tamarasheni-Kekhvi, controllable by the Georgian side.
On July, 8th, 2007 as a result of negotiations of the command of JPKF and the parties of the conflict the situation in the area of the settlement Аvnevi is stabilized. In the night for July, 7th, the divisions of the Georgian special troops at support of 5 units of heavy technical equipment have started to move ahead from the village Avnevi in the direction of the ossetian village Khod. The staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RSO is raised on alarm.
Today the working meeting of the co-chairman of JCC from the south-ossetian party Boris Chochiev with the head of the Mission of OSCE in Georgia Roy Riv took place in Tskhinval. To his words, the representative of JPKF from the Russian party, the colonel Ivan Kuznetsov has informed, that he has received instructions from the command not to interfere the Georgian side with the road laying. At the same time the Russian peacemakers do not allow the ossetian side the construction of the roundabout road Mugut - Khetagurovo.
The Georgian side continues its provocative actions in relation to the peace citizens of the Republic of South Ossetia. As we have been informed at the press-service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RSO, today, nearby 13:00pm, the bus Grom (the Tskhinvalskij area of RSO) - Tskhinval with the peace citizens has been stopped by the Georgian armed formations in the settlement Ditsy. The bus is held by the Georgian side till present time.
On July, 1st, 2007, a monitoring was held by the military observers from the three parties and the officers of the mission of OSCE with the purpose of checking of the received by the Joint Staff of JPKF information on holding a meeting in the settlement Ergneti.
Today in the area of the Georgian village Ergneti the Georgian side has detained the passengers of the bus Artsev- Tskhinval. The majority of the arrested are women and children, including the patient with a hand fracture, going to Tskhinval for medical aid. The correspondent of the agency “Res” was informed about it at the press-service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RSO. According to the available information, the passengers of the bus have been kept in Ergneti for several hours and then have been sent back to Artsev.
