The Embassy of South Ossetia is participating in the First International Congress of Public Executive Office at the invitation of the Russian Presidential Administration, the Embassy's press service reports.
The event will be holding at the Presidential Academy in Moscow from February 10 to 13.
Welcoming the participants and guests of the congress, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin emphasized the event's role in establishing direct professional dialogue and sharing best practices for addressing economic and social challenges.
"The President has declared the digital transformation of state and municipal administration one of the national development goals.
Advanced technologies, including those based on big data, are already being actively used by agencies and organizations, and many processes are being converted to electronic form.
“It is important to continue this work to ensure rapid and accurate decision-making, effective resource allocation, timely risk identification, and strengthening executive discipline,” Mikhail Mishustin said.
The Congress brought together over 1,200 participants: the heads of key departments of the Presidential Executive Office and the Government of the Russian Federation, the heads of regions and municipalities, parliamentarians, international experts in governance, and representatives of the scientific and expert community.
The Congress’s mission is to become a center for developing best practices, identifying key development vectors, and practical tasks to improve the quality of public administration.
The Congress program is structured around six thematic areas covering the key aspects of modern public administration: development of the state civil service, digitalization of public administration, regional and municipal practices, regulatory policy as a tool for reducing the administrative burden on business, a government for the people, and strategic management of priorities.
