South Ossetia is commemorating the victims of the Tsinagar tragedy
April 28, 1991 is a tragic date in the modern history of South Ossetia.
On this day, seven unarmed residents of the village of Tsinagar in Leningor district - Otar Margiev, Givi Bibilov, Slavik Chertkoev, Zaur Khubulov, Otar Khubulov, Tengiz Dudaev and Taimuraz Khubulov - were killed by the Georgian militants while defending their pastures from cattle rustling.
This crime became one of the first evidences of growing aggression of Georgia.
For 34 years, this wound has been bleeding in the hearts of residents of the Republic and the relatives of the victims.
