A constructive dialogue took place at the meeting of the Commission on Cooperation between the Federation Council and the Parliament of South Ossetia. This was stated by First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security, Co-Chairman of the Russian part of the Commission, Viktor Bondarev, commenting on the results of the meeting.

“Today, for the first time as Co-Chairman of the commission from the Russian Federation, I participated in this meeting, so I liked the constructiveness of all the questions raised by the Ossetian party,” Bondarev said.

In Tskhinval, at the meeting of the joint Russian-South Ossetian Commission on Inter-parliamentary Cooperation, was raised the issue of potential difficulties that may arise for citizens of South Ossetia in connection with the new decree of the Russian government on the rules for the entry and exit of foreign citizens.

“Historically, our ancestors voiced their decision to be with Russia. We all remember the times when we (the Republic) held referendum - they were both “midnight” and during the daytime.⁣⁣⠀

The duty unit of the South Ossetian Interior Ministry has received a message that ammunition was found in a forest near the Tskhinval-Zar highway, the press service of the department reported on Wednesday.

It was noted that the riot police officers had left for the scene.

“The Sappers have established that the discovered ammunition is presumably 5 RPG-26 Mukha, 3 anti-tank rounds from RPG-7 and an anti-tank grenade in a combat position,” the Interior Ministry listed.

The discovered ammunition will be taken to a training ground for subsequent destruction.

Russian President Vladimir Putin assured his South Ossetian counterpart Alan Gagloev of continuing to provide comprehensive assistance to South Ossetia in key areas, including the economy, social sphere and security.

"We will be helping you in every possible way in this, as well as in other important areas, I mean the economy, social sphere, health care and education," Putin has noted.

He also focused on security issues, calling them «important, if not extremely important area in the context of joint work."

Fighters from South Ossetia, together with the multinational people of Russia, are defending our common future in the special military operation zone, President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev said at the meeting with the head of the Russian state Vladimir Putin.

Gagloev has emphasized that the Republic highly appreciates ​​​​fraternal relations with Russia, always supporting Moscow's decisions and the conduct of the special military operation.
