The head of the Official Representation of South Ossetia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vitaly Yankovsky took part in the celebrations dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the introduction of the Russian Federation Peacekeeping Forces into Transnistria.

The events began with the traditional ceremony of laying flowers at the Peace Arch "Blessed are the Peacekeepers", installed in 2017 at the exit from Parkany towards Bender.

Vitaly Yankovsky laid fresh flowers at the foot of the Peace Arch.

TASS will become the general information partner of the 1st International Economic Forum in South Ossetia.

The Forum "South Ossetia. Investment Horizons" will become part of the federal information agenda - thanks to partnership with one of the largest agencies in Russia.

The partnership with TASS will allow the Forum to be presented as the significant event on the information map of the region and will increase the openness of South Ossetia to the external international audience.

The Forum will be holding on September 18-20, 2025 in Tskhinval.

The National Bank of South Ossetia will become the general partner of the I International Economic Forum "South Ossetia. Investment Horizons".

The management of the National Bank of the Republic will be widely represented in the business agenda of the Forum.

During the first session, expert discussions will be held on the direction of development of the banking sector.

The guests of the Forum will be introduced to the banking system of the Republic, the main growth points, the introduction of new technologies and innovations.

The NATO exercises Agile Spirit 2025 with the participation of the Western Command of the Georgian Defense Forces and the US National Guard pose a direct threat to the security of South Ossetia and the entire Transcaucasia region, the RSO Foreign Ministry has noted.

More than 70 rounds of ammunition were found in the Shanghai micro district in Tskhinval, the press service of the South Ossetian Emergencies Ministry reports.

"7.62 and 5.45 caliber cartridges were found in the amount of 28 and 44 units, respectively, as well as 1 14.5 caliber cartridge," the press service has noted.

The First International Economic Forum "South Ossetia. Investment Horizons" will be held in the capital of South Ossetia at the Olimp Sports Palace from September 18 to 20. The event will become a platform for international dialogue between the government and business representatives, where they will discuss opportunities for cooperation and investment, the banking sector, heritage and culture, the organizers report.

The Forum is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic and will become a symbol of the country's transition to a new economic stage.

The spiritual connection between the peoples of South Ossetia and the Republika Srpska will be developing and expanding, President Alan Gagloev has noted in the congratulatory message to Patriarch Porfiry of Serbia on the occasion of his birthday.
