A group of Russian bloggers, journalists and brewers visited South Ossetia to get acquainted with the local brewing traditions.

The visit, organized by Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic, has included a visit to the High-Mountain Kel Brewery and observation of the brewing process of the traditional Ossetian drink.

The bloggers' journey began with a visit to a home brewery in the village of Lower Goret in Tskhinval District.

The guests enjoyed a traditional Ossetian feast and a tasting of iron bagany – the local beer.

A round table was held at the South Ossetian Research Institute, dedicated to the problem of countering the falsification of the history of the Great Patriotic War.

The event was organized by the department of modern and contemporary history of the Institute.

The participants of the round table were employees of the South Ossetian Research Institute, representatives of the Russian Embassy, ​​and members of Parliament.

The main speaker at the event was the head of the department, Candidate of Philosophy, professor of the South Ossetian State University Kosta Dzugaev.
