A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in Tskhinval between the councils of young diplomats of the foreign ministries of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

The document was signed by the chairmen of the councils of the two republics, Aleksey Sanakoev and Astanda Pataraia.

As noted by Aleksey Sanakoev, the purpose of the Memorandum is to establish direct ties between the councils of young diplomats of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, as well as to discuss issues of mutual interest.

A delegation of the South Ossetian Parliament took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow. This was reported by the press service of the Republic’s legislative body.

The parliamentary delegation of South Ossetia is participating in the international conference "The Role of Interaction of Factions of Political Parties and Blocs in the Inter-parliamentary Cooperation of the CIS Countries", which is being held in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

The effective development of the inter-parliamentary cooperation between South Ossetia and Russia was discussed by Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin and Chairman of Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Margiev, the official website of the State Duma reports.

The meeting of the speakers took place on Tuesday in Moscow.

Vyacheslav Volodin has emphasized that Russia and South Ossetia have special relations.

The delegation of Parliament of South Ossetia headed by Speaker Alan Margiev is taking part in the annual inter-faction conference "The Role of Interaction of Factions of Political Parties and Blocs in Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation of the CIS Countries". This was reported by the press service of the Legislative Body of the Republic.

The South Ossetian State University and the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Abkhazia signed a memorandum of cooperation, the University's press service told IA "Res ".

The tour of the Kosta Khetagurov South Ossetian Drama Theater in Kemerovo and Prokopyevsk has ended as part of the All-Russian tour and concert plan.

For its first "Big Tour" in this region, the theater chose two multi-genre performances - the tragedy "Boris Godunov" and the tragicomedy "The Suicide", which were presented on the stages of the A.V. Lunacharsky Kuzbass Drama Theater and the Lenin Komsomol Prokopyevsk Drama Theater.

As reported by the theater's press service, the tour was a great success.

A cache of ammunition was found in the village of Otreu in Tskhinval district, the press service of the South Ossetian Emergencies Ministry reported on Monday.

The department specified that the ammunition found included 22 5.45, 7.62, 12.7 caliber cartridges, 3 machine gun belts, a 15-meter fuse cord, and a flare gun.

The ammunition was seized by the Emergencies Ministry sappers and is subject to disposal in accordance with the established procedure.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a federal law ratifying the agreement with South Ossetia on the development of military-technical cooperation (MTC).

The relevant document was published on the website of the official publication of legal acts.

As noted in the accompanying documents, the agreement is aimed at deepening cooperation in the military-technical sphere.

This document establishes the procedure for the supply of military products.

The leadership of South Ossetia, headed by President Alan Gagloev, laid flowers at the Memorial to the Fallen Defenders of the Fatherland in Tskhinval.

The event was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Day of Courage and National Unity.

The deputy corps, headed by Speaker Alan Margiev, the heads of ministries and departments, employees of security agencies, and the public of the Republic also took part in the laying ceremony.

The day of November 23, 1989 will remain in our hearts as a symbol of courage and heroism, President of the Republic Alan Gagloev, said at the memorial rally near the Pris Upland.

Today, the Republic is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Day of Courage and National Unity. Thousands of residents of the Republic gathered at the rally at the entrance to Tskhinval.
