Boxer Murat Gassiev defeated American heavyweight Jeremy Milton, known for his size (height 193 cm, arm span 203 cm). The fight as part of the evening of professional boxing took place at the Miccosukee Indian Gaming Resort in Miami (USA).
Gassiev performed a technical knockout. His opponent refused to continue the fight after the sixth round. Milton's doctor did not allow him to enter the ring.
A memorandum of cooperation between the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Supreme Court of the Republic of South Ossetia was signed at the South Ossetian State University. The fight will take place on the night from Saturday to Sunday, August 23 to 24, in Miami. The 10-round fight between Gassiev and Milton will be the main event of the boxing evening "IBA Night of Champions".
